Hyperhidrosis

Also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea, hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by excessive sweating. The sweating tends to begin during adolescence, and it can affect just one specific area or the whole body. Although it is not life threatening, hyperhidrosis can be uncomfortable and cause embarrassment and psychological trauma. Most commonly affected areas of the body are armpits, hands, feet, and face.
